As the Science manager you will be joining an innovative generative AI startup changing the future of filmmaking.
The Science Manager will report to the Chief Researcher, working closely with Science, VFX, Production, and Product teams. The Science Manager will be responsible for managing the project roadmap for each applied and research team in the AI org, to ensure project timelines, and deliveries meet the company KPIs for Product and Engineering. This role will be focused on delivering complex project deliveries in 3D Vision, Neural Rendering Compositing, Audio, and Audio Driven Facial Animation. These teams are impacting the delivery for localization and foreign language dubbing solutions across feature films, episodic series, and commercial content. The Science Manager will be an immediate right hand to the Chief Researcher to oversee the broader umbrella of the AI org, and ensure delivery and GTM strategies are met to the highest standard. This leader must be a forward thinking, and solutions oriented leader and will be responsible for the conceptualization and production of generative AI editing solutions to our global clients. They are required to manage multiple projects within the Applied Science, Research Science and Data Performance Engineering teams. Critical to this role is having the ability to multi-task, execute, prioritize and communicate effectively with cross functional teams in the US and UK offices. They must be able to speak with a high aptitude in both technical and creative understanding of what we have built, and how it impacts our clients. Excellent time-management skills, deep knowledge of the latest trends in immersive generative AI production, and experience in managing multiple projects in high volume on a global scale is imperative. This position reports to the Chief Researcher, and works closely with other key production executives, creatives, and Science Leaders.
